Whole Home Remodel - Fair Oaks

Our clients has us perform a preliminary walkthrough on this house while it was for sale. They made the decision to purchase this property and asked if we were equipped to tackle this ASAP while not cutting corners. We were up for the challenge and delivered. We drew up the plans for the permit and started as soon as we could. We remodeled the master bathroom and built out a new walk in pantry. The imperfect smooth texture made a huge difference in this home, along with upgraded electrical, gas fireplace, flooring, doors, and trim. We also increased the size of three bedroom windows for egress, and opened up the closed in porch area. All new posts and beams were brought in to update the patio. New garage door, entry door, and all new windows and sliders were installed.

    NORCAL SETS OUT FOR WYOMING

    Brad from Investco Construction handles all of our framing and carpentry work for Steinmark. He asked myself and a few subcontractors to join him on the Wyoming Build. We loaded the vans and trucks and headed out. We had all four seasons within two days. I was some epic weather to say the least. Check out our instagram for a more behind-the-scenes look.

    Living Room Remodel - Catta Verdera

    Our clients were looking to replace their existing living room fireplace. After going to several shops they realized they may need a contractor. We were referred to them from another client of ours. They interviewed a few contractors and we ultimately won the project. This project required
    demolition, drywall, fireplace, roofer, electrical, floor work, painting, custom mantle build, stone work, hearth tile, trim, painting and professional cleaning!

    This project was three weeks start to finish (weekends off) with a crew on site daily.

    Thanks to our clients! We had a great time working with you both and will miss Gracie the well behaved pooch!

      His & Hers Bathroom Remodels

      The goal for this project was to create two unique spaces for our clients. His bathroom had a tub/shower combo and we removed the tub and made a full shower, with a seat, and a niche. Her shower was an oversized tub/shower that was difficult to step in and out of. We added 14" of wall to make enough room for a soaking tub + a walk-in shower. Both of the bathrooms have the mixer valves on the entry side opening for simplicity.

      The original kitchen had a layout that made the living room and kitchen feel disconnected. We redesigned the layout in Sketch-Up and presented it to the clients. They were excited about our plan, and we moved forward. We also added a coffee/beverage bar after the fact, in the dining room; which proved to be an unanticipated necessity.

        Working with Steinmark Construction for our remodel was comfortable from the very begining. We knew about them through family and Eric was our grandson's Loomis soccer coach. We had Eric put together a proposal to update out kitchen and main living area. We also were in need of a master bathroom remodel. 


        Eric and Cori designed a master suite which completely changed the flow and made it easy for any type of access down the road. They drove to San Francisco just to get one sample of the wood-look beach tile because Eric said it had to be perfect. 


        They exceeded our expectations throughout the project. We lived in the house and they accommodated us from start to finish. To make things easier, we took a few short getaways during the weeks of painting and flooring. We highly recommend Steinmark and their crew!

        This Remodel was almost the entire house. We did everything from floors, paint, trim, doors, electrical, full master remodel, kitchen makeover and more.

        We took a bathroom with multi ceiling heights and made one ceiling. It also had a sunken roman tub. We filled it in and made a curb-less walk in shower.

        All of the details of this project were meticulously selected with our clients. We met them at a few of our favorite showrooms. The theme for this project was the costal beaches of Northern California, which is why we named this the Bodega Bay Project.
